Monday thru Friday
9am—12pm

In the One Week Program
…your child will:
~ Receive a uniform
~ Learn self defense drills
~ Experience coordination & agility drills
~ Work on character development drills

The SATORI Children’s Karate and Character Development Program

Satori Martial Arts Center is dedicated to the development of our children. Our youth program lays the groundwork and instills the values necessary for your child to succeed as a teenager and as an adult. Promoting the time honored principles of respect, discipline, perseverance, self control, and integrity, our martial arts program is the template in which your child will develop
themselves into a successful adult, armed with the tools to handle life’s challenges.

Our children’s program is divided by age and experience level, giving each child the individual attention they deserve and our schedule allows for unlimited class attendance. Each Instructor knows that the information in the curriculum needs to be delivered in a way that makes learning both challenging and fun.
With this winning combination, our program empowers every student on every level.

Satori would also like to congratulate the following Satori Yudanshakai (Black Belts) on completing and passing their recent exams held throughout the last week in February and coming to a close on Saturday, February 27th. Aside from the many years of consistent and dedicated training, they endured a week of written exams, physical fitness tests and then over four hours of testing on all of their necessary curriculum belt requirements.
Candidates were tested on belt combinations, forms, applications, self defense situations, sparring drills, speed breaking and power board breaks.

All of the Yudansha candidates successfully passed their exams and we proudly announce the following promotions and titles awarded at the closing of the exam on Saturday evening.

PROMOTED TO THE RANK OF JR SHODAN – JR 1ST DEGREE BLACK BELT
• Austin Mehallow, age 8, training for 4 years, Maumee Ohio
• Nick O’Toole, age 11, training for 5 years, Perrysburg, Ohio

Satori Martial Arts & Wellness Center is happy to announce the Grand Opening of their NEW Beautiful Facility in Maumee, Ohio by St Lukes Hospital off Monclova Rd.
Satori offers classes and instruction in karate, jiu jitsu, yoga, pilates, and cardio-fitness programs. Up and coming programs for spring include senior yoga, cardio boot camps, and kids summer camps.
Group and private instruction is available as they welcome anyone a week for free to try out any of their regular group classes.
